Positioned on top of a hill with southwest facing views of the bay, this home was neglecting its location. The original floorplan divided the kitchen, living and dining rooms apart, limiting the views and dramatic sunsets over the islands. Removing the needless walls allowed for new opportunities to gather, entertain and living experience. Expanding the island to allow for easy meals and homework to be done at the island was a must. This was achieved with more thoughtful pantry locations, re-configured work stations and appliances. The custom stained rift oak warms the clean lines of the white cabinets and counters.
